Abstract
A description is provided for . This species has been recorded on living leaves where it is likely to be mildly parasitic and, more often, on attached and fallen dead leaves and twigs, in litter on sandy acid soil in domestic garden, parkland, botanical gardens and in mixed woodland. Some information on its associated organisms and substrata, habitats, dispersal and transmission and conservation status is given, along with details of its geographical distribution (North America (USA (Maine, New Hampshire)), Europe (Italy, Switzerland, UK)) and hosts ( spp.). No reports of negative economic impacts of this fungus have been found.
