Abstract
We present a genome assembly of Cruciata laevipes (Crosswort; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Gentianales; Rubiaceae). The genome sequence has a total length of 296.60 megabases. The whole assembly is scaffolded into 11 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome sequences have lengths of 123.62 and 107.73 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 153.22 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
