Abstract
was recently reestablished and circumscribed to include most of the species previously included in the non‐monophyletic s.lat. The recently published Amorim & R.Sebast. clearly matches the morphology of due to its enantiostylous flowers, petal margin long‐fimbriate, 6 fertile stamens, and curved style. Thus, we provide the necessary new combination, assess the species' conservation status, and provide an identification key for all species of . With the present new combination, includes 14 accepted species of scandent shrubs or lianas endemic to rainforests, savannas, and seasonally dry tropical forests of Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay.
