Abstract
A description is provided for , apparently causing a disease on leaves and stems of species, with records from natural, semi-natural and planted conifer forests, moorland, bogs and, probably, other places where the associated plants occur. Some information on its dispersal and transmission and conservation status is given, along with details of its geographical distribution (North America (USA (Alaska, Washington)), Europe (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Russia (Smolensk oblast), Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, UK)) and hosts ( spp.).
