Abstract
Thyrsanthemum latibracteatum, a new species from the state of Guerrero, Mexico, is here described and illustrated. The proposed taxon is compared with T. floribundum, T. goldianum and T. longifolium, species with which it shares some similarities. A morphological description and images of the new taxon are presented along with a distribution map and a list of the specimens examined of both Thyrsanthemum species (T. goldianum and T. longifolium) known from Guerrero.
Se describe e ilustra Thyrsanthemum latibracteatum, nueva especie del estado de Guerrero, México. El taxon propuesto se compara con T. floribundum, T. goldianum y T. longifolium, especies con las cuales comparte algunas similitudes. Se proporciona la descripción morfológica e imágenes del nuevo taxon junto con un mapa de distribución y una lista de los especímenes examinados de ambas especies de Thyrsanthemum (T. goldianum y T. longifolium) conocidas de Guerrero.
