Abstract
The Flora of Brazil 2020 is a project coordinated by the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden, a federal public body linked to the Ministry of the Environment, whose mission is to ‘Promote, undertake and disseminate scientific research with an emphasis on plants, with a view to conserving and valuing biodiversity, as well as carrying out activities to promote the integration of science, education, culture and nature’.
