Abstract
Ninety-two New Guinea J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. names, nine Lauterb. names and one species of Schltr. are recognised here, presented in alphabetical order with notes on typification based on the literature and preliminary herbarium observations. A new name, , is proposed for the illegitimate name Schltr. Lectotypes are selected for 66 names and nine names; neotypes are designated for four names. Seventeen names and eight names are considered due to missing type material.
