Abstract
A new interspecific hybrid, Salix × jessenii O. V. Epanch. et I. V. Belyaeva from Switzerland is described and its characteristics are given. This hybrid is cultivated in botanical gardens and private collections in Europe and Russia. The potential uses of this unusual ornamental willow are given.
