Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual (field madder; Tracheophyta; Magnoliopsida; Gentianales; Rubiaceae). The genome sequence is 440.9 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 11 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial and plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 203.98 kilobases and 152.73 kilobases in length, respectively.
