Abstract
The Proteaceae in the flora of Singapore are represented by Helicia excelsa (Roxb.) Blume and H. petiolaris Benn. A third species, Helicia robusta (Roxb.) R.Br. ex Wall., was included in earlier checklists but it seems that the record arises from misidentified specimens of H. petiolaris, and so the species is excluded here. Three names are lectotypified here, one at the second step.
