Abstract
Datasets of plant occurrences used for the spatial analyses described in the paper. The majority of the tree species data and their occurrence records were obtained from the database of the National Biodiversity Information System (SNIB) of the National Commission for the Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity (CONABIO), freely available in its GIS portal (http://www.conabio.gob.mx/informacion/gis/). We are grateful to CONABIO for the financial support and for their help for obtaining and making use of the valuable biodiversity database. For details, please consult the publication: Tellez O, Mattana E, Diazgranados M, Kühn N, Castillo-Lorenzo E, Lira R, Montes-Leyva L, Rodriguez I, Flores Ortiz CM, Way M, Dávila P, Ulian T. 2020.
