Conidiomata of this species are produced on dead twigs and other woody parts, but there in no information about colonization or relations with the colonized tissues. This species appears in a list of fungi purpotedly dangerous to plants on the Romanian coast, but no evidence is presented of any actual damage. No other reports of negative economic impacts have been found.
