A new combination in Dysolobium (Leguminosae–Papilionoideae).
Dysolobium dasycarpum (Miq.) I.M.Turner, comb. nov., is proposed to take the place of Dysolobium dolichoides (Baker) Prain as the correct name of a legume species from seasonally-dry tropical Asia. A lectotype at the second step is designated for Dolichos dasycarpus Miq.Turner, Ian M.

A new combination of Strobilanthes (Acanthaceae) with two new records from Thailand.
Strobilanthes spirei is proposed as a new combination of Clinacanthus spirei. Strobilanthes hypomalla and S. spirei are newly recorded for Thailand. The lectotypification of S. hypomalla is made. A detailed description of morphology and pollen features is provided as well as photographs, distribution map, ecology and taxonomic notes.Kladwong, Pornchai ; Chantaranothai, Pranom

A new combination is required in Conocliniopsis (Compositae: Eupatorieae: Gyptidinae).
A new combination, , in R.M.King & H.Rob. (Compositae: Eupatorieae: Gyptidinae) is provided. An earlier assessment of Prince Maximilian Wied-Neuwied’s collections (sent by Martius to Colla), proposed that Colla’s was a new synonym of (Kunth) R.M.King & H.Rob., a Colombian endemic. A critical assessment of Wied’s collection has indicated that...Hind, D. J. Nicholas

A new combination in Asian Clinopodium (Lamiaceae).
Clinopodium umbrosum (M.Bieb.) Koch (1849: 673) was originally described from Georgia. A broad view of this species, which ranges from the Mediterranean to East Asia, has been maintained by some authors employing this name (Cramer 1981, Leblebici 1982, Clement 1999) or one of its homotypic synonyms (e.g. Satureja umbrosa (M.Beib.)...Turner, Ian

New combinations in Drynaria (Polypodiaceae subfam. Polypodioideae).
In a study exploring humus-collecting leaves in drynaroid ferns (Janssen & Schneider 2005), a phylogenetic analysis of this clade was produced, providing evidence that Drynaria (Bory; 1825: 463) Smith (1842: 60) is paraphyletic with regard to Aglaomorpha Schott (1836: pl. 19). Janssen & Schneider (2005) thus proposed to merge Drynaria... -

New combinations in Agave (Asparagaceae): A. amica, A. nanchititlensis, and A. quilae.
Phylogenetic studies of Agave Linnaeus (1753: 323) and related genera (Asparagaceae, Agavoideae) thus far published were based either on molecular (Bogler & Simpson 1996; Bogler et al. 2006; Good-Ávila et al. 2006; Scheinvar et al. 2017) or on morphological data (Hernández-Sandoval 1995; Tambutti in Eguiarte et al. 2006). Psychotria nilgherensis (Rubiaceae), a new combination replacing P. elongata.
The genus Grumilea was established by Gaertner (1788: 138, t. 28, f. 2) on the basis of a single species, G. nigra Gaertner from Sri Lanka. The genus was subsequently recognized and treated by a number of authors such as Candolle (1830: 495), Wight & Arnott (1834: 432), Miquel (1857:...Govaerts, Rafaël ; Chakrabarty, Tapas

New combinations and a new name for including Nemum species in Bulbostylis (Abildgaardieae: Cyperaceae)
A recent study included the genus Nemum into Bulbostylis. The combinations made for Nemum spadiceum and Nemum megastachyum resulted in illegitimate names. Here, the epithet of the homotypic name Scirpus briziformis is used to make nomenclaturally correct combinations for both subspecies of Nemum spadiceum in Bulbostylis. Furthermore, Bulbostylis brunneoacuminata, nomen...Larridon, Isabel ; Goetghebeur, Paul ; Roalson, Eric
