Eight new species of Microchirita (Gesneriaceae: Didymocarpoideae) from Thailand.
Eight new species of Microchirita (Gesneriaceae) from Thailand are described: Microchirita candida, M. chonburiensis, M. formosa, M. fuscifaucia, M. poomae, M. rayongensis, M. striata and M. suwatii. With the addition of these species, 37 species are now recorded for Thailand, considerably more than any other country.Middleton, David J. ; Tetsana, Naiyana ; Suddee, Somran ; Puglisi, Carmen

The genome sequence of strawberry clover, Trifolium fragiferum L. (Fabaceae).
We present a genome assembly from an individual (strawberry clover; Tracheophyta; Magnoliopsida; Fabales; Fabaceae). The genome sequence is 512.0 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 8 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial and plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 298.57 kilobases and 139.15 kilobases in length, respectively.Mian, Sahr ; Christenhusz, Maarten J. The genome sequence of rosebay willowherb Chamaenerion angustifolium (L.) Scop., 1771 (syn. Epilobium angustifolium L., 1753) (Onagraceae).
We present a genome assembly from an individual (fireweed; Tracheophyta; Magnoliopsida; Myrtales; Onagraceae). The genome sequence is 655.9 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 18 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial and plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 495.18 kilobases and 160.41 kilobases in length, respectively.Christenhusz, Maarten J. The genome sequence of weasel’s snout, Misopates orontium (L.) Raf. (Plantaginaceae).
We present a genome assembly from an individual (weasel’s snout; Tracheophyta; Magnoliopsida; Lamiales; Plantaginaceae). The genome sequence is 361.0 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 8 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The assembled mitochondrial and plastid genomes have lengths of 569.76 kilobases and 152.15 kilobases in length, respectively.Christenhusz, Maarten J. The genome sequence of the English holly, Ilex aquifolium L. (Aquifoliaceae).
We present a genome assembly from an individual (the English holly; Eudicot; Magnoliopsida; Aquifoliales; Aquifoliaceae). The genome sequence is 800.0 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 20 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The assembled mitochondrial and plastid genomes have lengths of 538.43 kilobases and 157.52 kilobases in length, respectively.Christenhusz, Maarten J. Plant pollen and spores as sources of ice nucleating particles.
Soluble molecules released from plant pollen can nucleate ice from supercooled water and are an enigmatic source of atmospherically relevant biological ice nucleators. Recently, it has been highlighted that ice nucleating particles from pollen may possess greater potential to impact cloud glaciation than previously considered, as fragments generated by pollen...Kinney, Nina L.
